Finally found some .40 s&w ammo on a store shelf.

Had to travel all the way to Branson Landing. Took my daughter to Bass Pro to see the aquarium, and happened to glance over to the ammo shelf. They had every caliber stocked, 9mm was 26 bucks per Winchester 100 round bulk pack, 40 S&W was running 37 bucks per hundred round pack.

Seeing the 3 old ladies standing at the gun counter looking at some "purse pistols" was priceless. Lol

I think I've got some .40 180 grn JHP.. I"d let go for 35.00 per hundred...

When the LCP came out and couldn't find .380 anywhere, we were at Branson, went into Bass Pro and there it was sitting on a shelf.
Similar to your experience.
