I have been a member for almost 10 years and never have they called me. Ive heard lots of people complain about the calls,(people who also were not life members). Is the calls something they do just for life members?

Just stuff NRA mailings into solicitations from ACLU, AARP, DNC etc. and return on their nickle

Congrats on your lifetime membership and thanks for stepping up. I've always believed that there's a big difference in being "involved" and being "committed". I signed my life away, back in my mid-20's and never regretted it. You will get a few unsolicited phone calls, but can opt out if you choose.
