Managed to get lucky on the last day of rifle turkey season. I picked a spot where I can cover a lot of area from prone. I was hoping the birds would just come up close enough to me (the rifle is sighted in for 200 yards). I got there at 6:20. It was very dark. Setup my gear and cover everything (including myself) with a camo tarp. Right at 7:00 three birds FLY over my like world war 2 bombers! and land right in front of me 75 yard away - couldn't have been an easier shot: aim right at 2" low ... and ta-da.
