"Never let a good crisis go to waste!". Rahm Emanuel, President Obama's former Cheif of Staff. Now he's reigning over the continuing decline of Chicago as Mayor.

Has anyone noticed that most pieces of legislation, mandates, presidential orders, etc, Obama forced through was due to a crisis?

That's right. You can't replace capitalism with socialism unless you destroy capitalism first. Socialism simply can't compete. Socialism needs something to siphon off of. Without capitalism, socialism must rely on communism and some - or even a lot - of slavery to survive.

Capitalism and socialism both need money. One is self-sustaining, the other is parasitic.
