I just picked this up in a trade.
Seem to be kind of hard to find.
Excellent condition.
Is there very much interest in a G17L now days?

They make a run of them from time to time. I bought a new one that is "fresh" production a little over a year ago. Wish they would Gen 5 them, but I wish they'd Gen 5 all models. I might buy a couple more Glocks if they did.
Not a Glock fanboy here, but I was wondering--would it be possible to put the 17L slide on a Gen 5 17 frame?

The complete slide assemblies or frames on the Gen 5 are interchangeable with other generations. Primarily issue is the difference in the barrel and locking blocks on the generation.

Some individual parts may interchange.

Even the sights are different because of the barrel fit to the gun. The mounting methods are the same, but they actually require different height ration from the from to rear. About .030”
