I know that later generation G mags are different, having the additional mag release notch on the left side. What are the concerns running older 1 notch & the newer 2 notched mags in the various Gens ? They seem interchangeable ? IDK ? 😎🇺🇸
Happy Father’s Day to ya’all

Glock mags are Glock mags. Newer work in old guns and vice-versa. Just stay clear of the NFML mags (1st gens) and you'll be fine.

Also, you can't run gen 5 mags in the 19X. The mag well has a toe on the bottom of the frontstrap that won't allow a gen5 mag to seat because of the elongated basepad.

And a happy father's day to you as well.
