Going Rate on Hodgdon Powder?

I'm transplanted in Kansas right now and went to a local gunshop to pick up a pound of Hodgdon Benchmark. It was $28...is this fair? It has been a while since I have bought powder, but I thought it was around $20 the last time I purchased it.

Buy it. Sears in El Reno (where I but most my powder) shows $24.99 a pound. Couple that with the fact Hodgdon powders are unobtaniumnow, and ththat's a deal.

Under $30 isn't a bad price usually, closer to 25 is typically where I like to buy it, but haven't been picky lately.

To the right person varget would prob be worth more than a pmag. But that person isn't me. Once I get my back order ill have enough to burn the barrels out of both my swifts. Twice. Lol.

I've switched from Varget as well. May sell my last pound. If I were in Kansas, I would hit all the gun shops I could and then hit Powder Valley on the way home. Powder and primers are going to be tough for a while.
