In one of his first actions after surviving an election seeking to oust him from office, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday essentially abolished single-family zoning in California — and green-lighted a series of bills intended to bolster the state’s housing production.

Yeah, that's your fault California, not just allowing but willingly taking in all those ILLEGAL ALIENS, how many tens of millions are in californicate already, and more are coming.

They anticipate 40% off CA will have left in the next few years, making TX purple as most seem to be going to Austin. Either way, with their new drug laws, and mass exodus, developers are probably gonna lose their asses as their wont be buyers unless they keep the border open and they all go to CA.

A complete flip from 20 years ago.
Got a big house? Turn it into a duplex, tri-plex, apt bldg or boarding house.
Rent out that garage apt they wouldn't let you rent before cause you weren't zoned multi family. Build tiny houses in your back yard. Also move all rural people to the big city and cut off services. That was on pbs hinting about that coming.
In 20 years we will be like the movies where everybody lives in the big cities and outside is a dangerous wasteland.
