GSG Magazine capacity question?

I bought a GSG that says it comes with a 22 round clip but it actually only holds 10. It also looks like you could remove the tabs that prevent you using the magazines entire capacity pretty easily. Does anybody have any experience with this?

I'd hate to get it apart and then end up with a trashed magazine.

I have known people that have tried it, but it didn't work. That's not to say that it can't be done. All my mags are 22 rounders. Kings Pawn Shop and Brigadoons (both in Del City) carry the 22 rounders.

I know the 22 rounders are out there, I thought I was getting one with the gun - that's why I was bummed. It seems like there is quite a bit of tension on that spring so that's why I thought it might work.
