Not to hijack, but I have the same question.

Here's what i need done:

I have a 1928 Browning Auto 5 made by FN. I bought it with a rotted and unusable recoil pad on it. I located a NOS FN buttplate ( original horn of the correct style and vintage ) and need it fitted to the gun properly. It doesnt appear to have ever been installed on a gun before.

I am unsure if the stock has been modified before to allow the old recoil pad. I've removed the pad and trashed it as it was making a mess.

Anyone know a place in Tulsa that I can take the gun to have this done? It's in superb condition and the buttplate is all it needs to be a solid original.
Also, about how much should I expect to pay for this service?

The guys at H&H are really good. I was there the other day and no kidding, there was a guy who sent his 1911 from WV just to have H&H gunsmiths duracoat it. To me that says something. I have never had a problem with them.
