gyms in okc that have real weights?

The Y in Norman has 1-2 squat racks (can't remember exactly) and a smith machine. There's also a dead lift rack (not sure of the proper name), several flat benches for bench press, an incline bench, a decline bench, several short benches for dumbells and a few other stations in the weight room. The squat racks aren't busy often, so if you pick the right time, you could have it/them all to yourself. There's an abundance of plates.

Sounds like it was back when I went to the Y in Norman. Do they still have those plates that are octagonal? For some reason when I would be doing deads they would all end up pointing the same way. Then when I would set it down, I'd have the whole thing try to roll into my shins. If you were really tired and forgot, you'd get a painful reminder.

I've never counted the sides, but just picturing them in my head, I'd say octagonal is probably about right. They definitely aren't circular.

I also go to Anytime. I like it, because you can go to any location. They do have squat racks and free weights.

Yeah the being able to go to any of the gym's is great. When I was in Phoenix for three weeks there was one about a mile from where I was staying which was perfect.
