If one ever had to use the thing for real it would seem unlikely that either the shooter or the shootee would complain about the way it looks.
^^^^ That's what derringer type guns are meant for. Deep, deep concealment, surprise and close in. Or as a last ditch, no other option, shot the rest of your wad effort to finish the fight.
A co-worker has one of the stainless COP .357 derringers that holds 4 .357 rounds. It's pretty ugly and heavy as all get out, but it would sure ruin some scumbag's day.
