Help with information on this ammo.

It is M2 ball, 528 rounds, but who made it? Is it on Garand clips? Corrosive? The picture is all the information on the case. The case is still closed and banded.

My understanding is you never know for sure til you open and look at it, cause you never know for sure who got the contract and then there was several different ones making it at times too. I know this dont help you and understand you not wanting to open it.
