They don't make a 10mm or .45 Staccato, all Staccatos are chambered in 9mm currently. Nothing wrong with a LW Colt but Stacattos shoot MUCH flatter than the Colt. They range in price from $1900 to $4200. I speak from owning both.
Now I want a 10mm one :).

I wish I had not sold my .40 infinity. It was a joy to shoot. This is one reason why I don’t tend to sell or trade guns either.

Isn't the Staccato formally STI?
Sorry about that I misunderstood my Son-in Law so I called him he said he has a Staccato in 9mm and a Glock 20 in10mm that holds 13+1. Yes and he also said no .45. At 85 I can no longer afford to buy that expensive stuff but the Colt only cost me me cheap back in the day and will still shoot 1-1/2 groups at 25 yards from a rest if I do my part. He also said Staccato was formally STI. Apologies!

I stand corrected. I shouldn’t have said “2011,” I should’ve just said “double stack 1911.“ If we were talking only about “true 2011s” then we should be talking about STI’s only on this thread, right? But that’s fine. If you want to spend $2k+ on your all-plastic grip “1911-inspired pistol”, it‘s your money, not mine.
How very true IT is!

No worries. Colts are good for sure if you got a good one!
