Those look really cool. You might look into focus layering to get the entire gun in focus. Can't recall if I saw someone doing it here or on The Photo Forum. Similar to HDR layering.

These were all shot with a 50mm lens and the aperture set at f2.5. This allows for the camera to show more of a blurred background than normal.

I am hoping to have a few more subjects to shoot and post up in the near future.
