So the primer is simply an explosive green paste smeared on the inside bottom of the case? I had always assumed it was somehow rolled into a space between inside and outside surfaces of the bottom of the case. I've always said that if ever win the lottery I'll pick my guns and then buy ammo by the pallet. I believe with my own land and range that I could burn thru 250,000 rounds of .22 LR before I die.
