I noticed orange slush under my jeep yesterday, at first thought it was mud. Today I saw it dripping down and thought it was antifreeze which was supposed to be good, seems the windshield fluid tank had frozen to slush and was leaking out. Stuff supposed to be good down to -20.
I have this tester and mine in the 57 said good to -3
I siphoned 1.5 gallons out which was all the radiator held (not the block)
Added 1.5 gallons of 50/50 Peak Antifreeze and the tester showed good to -27 give or take a little.
Peak tight now has a $7 mail in rebate limit 2 per household.
So 14 bucks back on 2 gallons.
Harbor freight has Peak 50-50 for under 9 bucks.
And there is a current about to end today 30% off Harbor freight coupon for 5 items under 10 bucks each.

just don't mix the old silica based (green) coolant with the new extended life OAT (pink or orange) coolants otherwise your radiator coolant will turn into a slushie.
The name brand ones (Prestone, etc.) should be pretty accurate, providing the little balls are in the proper order.
Use no-name knockoffs at your own peril.
