I Like Sushi

+1 on Saii.

However, I'm not a big sushi fan. Some is ok, but most of it isn't. I'm just not a big fan of sticky rice, cream cheese, mayo and all of the other crap they stuff inside these rolls. I've always said, though, that if you don't like sushi, it's because you haven't tried the right combo yet. There are countless variations of sushi and sushi rolls, don't swear off sushi forever because you didn't like the taste of a California Roll.

Instead of sushi, I'm a big fan of sashimi. You can keep your cold, sticky rice stuffed with avocado and topped with 3 pretty colors of sesame seeds. Give me the raw seafood!

Tokyo Sushi off Western is pretty good. I can eat my weight in that stuff.

White River Fish Market and Bodean here in Tulsa both ship in fresh seafood by air every single day... I've heard that between the two of them they supply 90% of the fresh fish in the Tulsa area.

Sashimi from Nagoya's in Stillwater is awesome. The 17 piece combo, with a couple of tall Saporo beers, is my favorite. Im not big on the rice, etc with sushi.

I don' know how they are since our Favorite chef left, but Wasabi in Mustang is a great place to take a group comprised of both sushi lovers and those who like to fish with rice on their hook.

People in Osaka have a word for that. くいだおれ (Kuidaore), basically means to eat oneself bankrupt.
