Interesting Pictures

Those are some cool pictures. What is it people say about black and white photos they're supposed to be better. I've seen black and white photos like these many times, but wow, these color photos just brings them to life and I get a whole other sense of something going on there. Amazing and I don't even really know why.

I hear ya, the color just takes you there. It seems more real. Like how newer period films feel more real than old B&W ones.

Great pix .... but what is with the "African-American" captions? That term was not used back then .... Too PC on some of the captions - Wonderful photo's though ...... Thanx!

Here's some more 4x5 Kodachrome slides from WWII. Amazing stuff. Makes you wonder why in the hell every pro photog doesn't shoot film.
