Some of us over on the Mythbusters forum have come up with a new "postal match". Rules:
Draw a circle, square, triangle, pentagram or whatever, size doesn't really matter. Put an X in the target. Fire five shots, then measure the distance from the center of the X to the center of each bullet hole. Total the distances. That is your score. Lowest score wins. Photograph the target and send it to me. I'll forward it to the match moderator. Here's the distances for pistols and rifles:
Handguns, any caliber, at 20 yards, offhand, (using both hands, O.K.,) open sights, 5 shots.
Rifles, any caliber, at 50 yards, offhand, open sights, 5 shots.
You've got to Labor Day to submit your results.
