Hello folks --

Caught the jumpiness due to the .22LR shortage, and when Gunbot alerted I jumped on a 500 rd box of Aguila SuperExtra standard velocity solids, which arrived on the doorstep a couple of days ago. Haven't shot any of it yet. What's this ammo perform like in your guns?

Some online reviews report bad experiences using it in semi-autos. That doesn't faze me too much since my favorite .22s are a revolver and a bolt-action rifle.

I think CMP used to sell this stuff...

The Aguila SE SV ammo was used by several members at our bullseye pistol matches (50 ft indoor) . At that range it performs very well.
I did some bench rest testing at 50 yards and it produced ca. 3/4 inch 10 shot groups while Wolf MT and SKJ Rifle Match produced one hole 10 shot groups of under 0.4 inches. CCIMin Mag and Fed HV bulk ammo gave groups in the 1/2 inch range.
