I just got a 12ga Model 20 tonight. Hope to shoot it this week if it doesnt rain. I will post the performance on some clays. Looks like a nice built gun.
I love my J.C. Higgins model 20 in 12 guage. It belonged to my Grandfather and I wouldn't part with it for anything.
When I was deeply addicted to sporting clays some years back I had an awesome Weatherby Athena, and a Franchi Alcione, both customized for better shooting on the clay field.
I took the model 20 out for fun one day and shot the best round I had ever shot at that time. It made me think twice about the dough I was spending on fancy over/under shotguns.
