His opponent had a really long putt to do and claimed that it couldn't be done. Jack stepped up and dropped a ball of his own and made a great shot.
I did the same thing. Back in the 80's or 90's he made a series of videos about how he sets up his shots, swings, etc. He laid out a very simple method of how he will hit a draw or fade, both high and low. He broke it down very simply, and when I can manage to do my part, it totally works! There is one shot I'll never forget. I hit my drive into the rough off the left side of the fairway. I had about 135 to the green, but had to get around a tree in front of me. I took out my 9 iron, set up like Jack taught me, and hit a very high draw around the tree, and it landed on the green about 5 feet from the pin. I would've thought I was on tour after that shot!I patterned my swing from the GoldenBear. he said he could hit a one iron over a tree. I tried it and did it.
