All I know he was old time Knifemaker. He was a friend of George Englebretson. I bought stencils from him in the 90's and now have an etcher he built and George gave it to me when he(George) quit making.
George told me they used to argue( good naturally) about the start of the edge. George would put a notch where edge started and Walden didn't want it.
