My very first pistol was a cap and ball Colt
Shoot as fast as lightnin' but it loads a mite slow
Loads a mite slow and i soon found out
It can get you into trouble but it can't get you out
So then I went and bought myself a Colt 45
Called a peacemaker but I never knew why
Never knew why, I didn't understand
Cause Mama said the pistol is the devil's right hand
Never knew why, I didn't understand
Cause Mama said the pistol is the devil's right hand
The devil's right hand, the devil's right hand
Mama said the pistol is the devil's right hand

If you're talking about a loading stand, this is the best:

I've found that I can reload faster without using a stand. I'd reckon if accuracy was your thing, then the stand would be better, as you have better control of seating depth and pressure.

I shoot a '51 and a '60, and sometimes a Walker in Cowboy Action. I can have both recharged and ready to cap in less than 5 minutes. Not bragging either, lots of folks can do it quicker.

One thing I've learned about percussion guns, if you touch one off at H&H or Heartland, everyone else notices!
