If you are concerned about the place being legal, why not just go to Happy Hollow and pay 10 bucks and shoot until your hearts content. Its target shooting and not plinking, but theres no legality question.

Happy Hollow is a great place to go shoot. Again, exit at Kellyville, go west on hwy 33. Drive past John Christner trucking and turn right on the next road as you go up the hill. It has a big sign for a housing development. Follow that about 2 miles or so until you see the sign for Happy Hollow.
