And still 5 oz heavier than mine :)

But you like hauling that fatty Tavor around, so I'm sure everything feels light compared to that!!

I need to let you feel/shoot the Knights. Everyone who picks it up has said "damn, that's light!" And it's one of the softest shooters you will ever squeeze a round off. It's probably half the felt recoil of the Tavor.

Hey skinny ass, I got a counter weight hanging on the backside of me, so you keep talking about my Tavor being a fat chick, but she will still be cooking when these AR's we have give it up. See a skinny girl when things get bad and there is no food to eat will die fast, but a fat girl will live on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does your weigh unloaded, but with the back ups and optic on you chose??

The KAC is right at 7 pounds, maybe a pinch under with aimpoint pro and the new Aero Precision is about 7.8 with with vortex 1-4 and ADM mount. I could save some weight with a lighter stock and scope mount, but it's good enough.

The Tavor would outlast the Aero, but not the Knights. There was a test done by ballistic radio last month, 21,000 rounds down a Knights, no cleaning, zero malfunctions and still was going and shooting sub MOA. They have a rifle with 88,000 rounds down it at the factory on the original barrel and bolt, he said it shoots 1.5 MOA. But the cost north of $2000 so they should perform like that.

Piston guns

- Cost more
- Non standard parts from one type to the other
- Availability of unique parts in SHTF
- After market hand guard compatibility
- Moving parts = potential to break
- Weigh more

It's an $8 gas tube.

I can swap parts with either of my rifles and it will work if SHTF. You can't. Part of the reason you like Glocks I would guess?

The Tavor is awesome and piston guns are great, but if I need a badass rifle that I don't have to worry about or worry about parts, I'm grabbing the Knights. Even wit its proprietary parts, standard parts will still work if needed.
