What I'm tryng to say is that a barrel is 16 inches. The flash hider is anywhere from 1.5 to 2 inches; making your overall barrel lenght roughly 18 inches. I wanted to try to keep it as close to 16. Come on man...you should know what I'm talking about. :anyone:

Ya I got it after I thought about it a bit. I guess the point of it what was throwing me off.

Wormy cool pics are what I aim for.

On a serious note; its the only impractical part of my AR. So please don't think that I don't know the odds and ends of a practical and efficient weapon. As I stated I have, one of the best flash eliminators on the market; the Smith Enterprises Vortex, on hand.

My weapon is......perfect for home defense.
Is.....perfect for a truck gun.
Is.....perfect for hunting.
And also perfect for... Cool pictures.

Ya know; some people in the gun world even think that cans are impractical. Damn....can't a fella be tacticool?!?! LOL!

Mine is pretty much finished....added a Young NM Hard Chrome BCG (figured being tighter it might help with any blowback) and the "Show Time"/"Go Time" Dust cover...rest is the same as before...these thing are fun to "Customize"

I think I'll get a LaRue LT105 mount so that I can get the ACOG back another half inch, the TA60 has too much overhang.
