Lever action Winchester 94 scope mounting question

Go to dong's or Sportsworld (probably only stores old enough to have one)
buy mount -weaver or holden ironsighter or others
then mount on gun
your gun is drilled & tapped for it from factory.
just make sure you are getting the top mount for the AE
and not the side mount for the std 94.

This is interesting information. I see there are four very small screws in the top of the reciever but thought they were part of the mechanism. I will take this advice and go shopping for the right mounts. The second issue is the scope itself and because I have 20-20 distance vision the Aimpoint idea may be my solution.

Now I have to raid the kids college fund and borrow more money from the mother in law to get this new toy fixed up the way I think it should be.
