Got a late start do to loosing power around 2 am!! South range had what I believe was a father and 2 sons shooting various AR's and AK's and pistols!! All 3 were paying attention and observed good shooting practices, nice folks!!
Range had a little trash but was not in to bad a shape. Enjoyed shooting just forgot to load the front site tool for my AK's so really cut the shoot time down!! That is just a good reason to get back down there as soon as the new peep site is in for the AK47!!

Anybody pick up the trash to help clean up the new range?
I know you didn't leave any, but that's a bug of mine.
I prowl our range and pick up the targets that have blown into the berms.
It sucks when people are so disrespectful of a nice facility that was built from their tax dollars.

I was picking up sea foam cans on the way back from hanging targets!! South range was not to bad, just 2-3 cans and some bits of debris around. Last time I was out it was pretty trashed!!

IMG_0974.jpg Got the chance to go out there yesterday. Damn it's nice! Sighted in 11 rifles with my FIL.

Guy there before use was nice enough to pick up every piece of brass too...

I have been itching to go.. have not in some time.
I do pick up trash and now there are no trash cans there. But I will stuff the trash in my trunk anyway.

I will not let people that show up while I am there and take anything but paper and clay to shoot at.
If they proceed to take cans and bottles i stop them in their tracks and inform them of the rules and say the ranger comes by often and NO warning will be given just tickets.. So put them away.
So far everyone was happy to put the stuff away.

I’ve never been there, one of you guys needs to take me down and show me the ropes there one of these days. Maybe we could think about doing an ENS There? Shoot our stuff then Porta - Grill some dogs and burgers?

We have permission, just have to let them know what date and observe fire ban if cooking on a grill!! They also said we have to include any non OSA in festivities , ya know like rangers wanting a burger or other shooters for that matter!!x
