Not sure, I have never been.

I think it's protocol about everywhere when the officer gets the hinkies. Is it protocol to be frisked upon contact now with OHP?
I thought it was because it wouldn't go well with their 1970s uniforms and shiny holsters.Ever wonder why OHP isn't allowed to carry tasers, asp batons or pepper spray? It's either fists or firearms. Ain't no in between.
What else are they supposed to wear as they drive around in Military style armored vehicles?I like the OHP uniforms. At least they haven't gone the militaristic look that some departments have. Cops look like Tommy tactical going to war.

Yep. Times change, technology advances and they are still stuck in 1971.
Most are stuck in the decade who haven’t transitioned to the external vest to relocate all the weight from the hips for appearance sake only.
Ahh no. They don't have the straight drop holster with the leather hammer thong on their model 10 heavy barrel with the Combs treatment punched out to 357. I think they also had model 19's and a few had 27's, 28's and 29's. But they still have the 357 don't they? Except it's auto.Yep. Times change, technology advances and they are still stuck in 1971.
