I don't know if it is still available, years ago I had a prescription for DRIXORAL. It was changed to OTC, same strength. It worked great. Had a walking pneumonia. Anti-biotic to kill it. DRIXORAL to cough it up.

Hospital gave me Musinex when I had the Fauci Flu.

Now, I'm going to have to look for DRIXORAL. Best working snot pill I ever had.

I remember Drixoral from the 70’s & 80’s. It’s a time released pseudophed . A lot of pseudophed. So if you have high BP issues, be careful. I think there is a Drixoral cold combo that includes an antihistamine with the decongestant (pseudophed), but you can buy other cold pills today with the same ingredients for the same effect.

Wife did some looking, and apparently Mucinex is similar to what you got, but probably at a lower dosage.
