Good stuff. Any caliber. Used it regularly before I started reloading. Used 38Spl, 40S&W, 45LC, 45ACP with nary a problem. Still have and use after 8 years or so the 45LC and 45ACP brass from factory loads I shot.

This is my practice and plinking ammo for my 1911. It's a good balance of affordable, accurate, clean and reliable.

dirty as hell but it runs ok

This post confuses me, although I guess dirtyness depends on what you are you are comparing it to. When comparing it to other inexpensive target ammo, specifically WWB & Federal, I have found Magtech to be MUCH cleaner. So I don't consider it dirty at all - at least not in 9mm, which is the only caliber I have any experience with in Magtech. I have had no reliability issues either. I haven't priced th 45, but in 9mm I found DSG Arms to be the best priced & they shipped FAST.
