It unquestionably is satire. 100% confidence. Real lefties never are that honest about what they actually believe. The writer moreover draws attention to conditions that the real left would rather ignore. Finally, real leftists never:
- refer to the Constitution, especially not to suggest amending it (why amend when they can just ignore it?)
- link Chicago to Obama and gun violence in the same paragraph
- acknowledge that Democrats currently are in control of the government
- refer to a child at the time of delivery as a "baby". Too close to referring to the subject of an abortion as a "baby".
