Whatever somebody says to me , I say right back at them. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, both of these phrases have been in the language for as long as I can remember. The only exception would be if I met Bill O'Reilly in a dark alley. He's a lot bigger than I am and if I don't say Merry Christmas, he's liable to whoop my ath. Peace on Earth I say. Good will toward men. Unpopular sentiments. I'm an outlaw.

Depends on who I'm around. My family is Christian so it's Merry Christmas, I have a Jewish friend so she gets a Happy Hanukkah, and if I have no clue what religion you are you're going to get a Happy Holidays. Myself, I'm agnostic and could care less either way since the Catholic church was the one who ruined a few other people's celebrations and created Christmas but that's a different story.
