Monster energy drink suing Monster fish keepers website

As you can tell by my handle aquarium fish is one of my other hobbies. It is sad to see a big corporation go after a group of aquarium enthusiasts and there website.

Man that really does suck, but their logo's are pretty similar. Monster Fish Keepers said it was trademarked in 2005 but I think Monster Energy Drink came out around 2001-2002, who knows when they actually trademarked their logo but you would think around that same time.

I don't see any resemblance in the logos other than the use of the letter "M". And what is the first thing you thing of when you hear the word monster?

First thing I think of when I hear the work Monster is Energy Drink. I could see where the logo's do and don't look the same, your right they are just using an "M" but they are also a longer looking "M" all they added was horns and a tail. I'm with you though I don't like the fact that they are picking on the little guy though.

Glad I'm not the only one who boycotts Sara Lee. I don't like Monster beverages anyway so I'll boycott them too
