Anybody know where i can purchase some newer military mre's at? They are all over on ebay but after shipping it's about $90 a case!

ebay, if you look you can find the ones that aren't sue to be inspected till 2012 or newer

i got a case for 70 bucks, i guess it's just timing

I've purchased from these guys before. I used to keep several of these on the truck with me for emergencies. I bought 2 cases from them and don't think the shipping was out of line. If you want to skip shipping altogether, the TA truck stops usually carry these for 5.99/meal.

Keep an eye on craigslist, I see them pop up every once in a while for pretty cheap

I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard not long ago that you can no longer get the true MREs like the troops get, which is supposedly a lot better, and has more stuff in it, than the "commercial" MREs that are being sold now. Something about legality. Don't know if the Feds made it illegal or what.

Just something to check.
