Interested in threaded muzzle brake on a threaded barrel Remington 700. Thinking bout Jp enterprises or similar. Is the crush washer what lines it up correctly. Also I was wondering if it needs to be
Loctited down or I could just screw it on. Any info or suggestions appreciated. Other brake suggestions would be nice too

+1 for the Rolling Thunder. For a non-suppressed muzzle attachment, torquing it to recommended manufacturer specs should be sufficient. Excessive heat shouldn't be an issue on a bolt gun. You could use a crush washer, peel washers, or have the barrel threaded and the comp "clocked" by a competent machinist, which would negate the use of unsightly washers.
