Found this one in Colorado visiting my son. Original numbers matching drivetrain (402 TH400 12 bolt 2.73) a/c car. As little rust Ive ever seen on a unrestored driver 1972 el camino. Think ill keep this one for a while. Has real nice Global West tubular suspension already done. New front windshield. Has almost 100% of trim that came with it. The ignition has been replaced with MSD and the Holley 750 is working great.. What is odd the kid that had it back in high school never took off the smog stuff and put headers on it. For the win!!!!!!!

The smog stuff may be intact due to Colorado requiring vehicle inspections.
Yes I believe that's why. The check valves or diverter was inop and was sputtering and some backfire in the exhaust. I plugged the check valves on both sides and it runs like a big block should now.
