My lawn is a mess

I'm looking for advice and recommendations. My lawn is a mess of weeds like henbit and crabgrass. It could also be leveled in spots due to low spots.

Can I turn it over to one guy to fix; weeds, dirt work, summer mowing and all? Any OSAers in the landscape and lawncare business? I mean legit operations, not step-kids with a mower.

Not in your area, but you can use roundup, or a glyphosphate clone when the day time temps get over 55 degrees. It won't hurt the dormant Bermuda, but if you have fescu, don't use it.

There are a few mowing services that do weed control as well. Most weed sprayers right now are applying a pre emergent and a weed killer such as Round Up (bermuda grass lawns). If the low spots aren't really bad, and there aren't high spots that need to be lowered, using some sand to fill the low spots gradually will allow to grass to grow through and not show bare spots for long. If the low spots are low enough to require more than a couple inches to level, get some top soil to fill the spots in late spring, so that you can seed the spots when soil temperature remains warm all night long.

You can call my brother, 326-4028. He has been doing it for close to 15 years, licensed and bonded, including weed control, several commercial accounts. Not sure if he services yukon, but he does cover most of the metro.
