My new Kimber tfs soc 1911 will be in thursday

Just got notified my Kimber 1911 TFS soc will be in my greedy little hands Thursday, and I can't wait.
Got to start picking up 45 ammo this week.

Nice looking Kimber. My favorite tactical ammo is Winchester Ranger and WinClean for practice. ‘All That’ and a threaded muzzle!

A weekend of disappointments. The Kimber 1911 that was suppose to be in Thursday...then Friday, has yet to arrive at my FFL.
Not a happy puppy.

Know how ya feel...kinda. I have a new scope rail on the way for my M70. First time I looked at the tracking number, it said estimated delivery date Friday. This morning, it said Monday. A bit too late for my planned trip to the range on Sunday. I wanted to try the rifle with my 24x scope. Oh well, there's always next weekend....

What 24x scope is that? Got a picture and review?

Leupold BR-24, a 24x fixed power scope. It came off one of my Anschutz target rifles. It's an older scope, now out of production, made back when benchrest competition was more popular than now. I want to try it on the M70 to see if I can hit better with more magnification vs. the 12x it came with.
