I was looking over the new fishing laws for next year and saw that the price of a resident annual trout stamp went to zero. I guess the department raised the non-resident fishing licenses enough to cover the losses on the trout stamp. I'm sure you'll still need the $10 stamp to get you through this year though. I feel as bad as I get screwed every time I buy a trout fishing license in New Mexico, it's only fair we let the non-residents here help us out a little.

I too hope the money is still there. Having a lifetime combo license...I get a little annoyed every time the ODWC comes up with a new fee lifetime holders still have to pay for, however I have no problem paying for a trout stamp. A lot of money and time goes into stocking those fish every year and I have no problem chipping in my $10 to make it happen.
