new HD shotgun

well i sold my old maverick so i had to get another one. 20" 7+1.

i really like my other one so i figured id give the security a try.

i really like my Maverick 88 they are great HD guns i would suggest taking her apart and giving it a good cleaning. I bought mine brand new and the action seems kind of sticky. Took it apart cleaned it and now its a smooth at butter just as nice as my 500a1

I got maverick about 2 weeks ago i put about 150 rounds throught it and i like it is a get little shotgun.

thanks guys , like i said this is my second 88, my other ws a long barrel cut to 18.5" i had traded it off then got it back, then sold it for a nice price so i decided to get the 20"

I just got a maverick 88 PG only, and I'm itching to take it out. I want to replace the foregrip with a mossy 500 action tube and a forearm with picattiny rails of some sort, and an over-folding stock.

The extra mag capacity is definitely worth the 1.5" longer barrel.

I prefer Mossburg pumps myself
