Has anyone here tried the New Mutant AK-47. I have been considering getting an AR10 in 308 caliber, then this new AK hit the Market. Has anyone tried it out yet?
I have not, but I've done some research. It takes the optic mounting capabilities and fire control scheme of an AR and integrates AK-47 and cheap steel ammo. I think that it is slightly over-priced, but not much considering the price of AKS nowadays.

As far as "mutant" rifles go, I like the ARAK-21. Clearly an AR and AK combo. I like that a lot though but I ain't got no $3000.

I don't know what has happened that has made gun companies think $3000 is an acceptable price for a modern sporting rifle.
Is it piston or DI?
Never mind, its still a DI gun. Sounds like the worst of both worlds if you ask me. Plus the fact its produced by cmmg, wouldn't waste my money on it.
