I read that cold is considering bring the python back on the market. It seems to me that if this happens the value of the old pythons are going to take a huge dump. What say you?

I can't imagine paying $2500 for an old python when the new ones on the shelf will presumably be far less. Collectors might still seek out the originals but I think the average Joe will save some dough and pick up a new one and have just as good a gun.

The collectors I think will pay the $2,500 for the older Pythons because of this or that or the other. They will argue that it was made better. But a new Python will still be right up there with a Smith or a Ruger.
