So the mag is 5# when loaded and the rifle 10 as it sits...so its not too bad right?

with 50rds of 7.62 linked is 3.5lb, so maybe at least 3lb + 4.9lb = 7.9 + 9lb for the 14 = 16.9.............. Damn, **** that, that's what those young Buck Privates are for LOL

Man, looks like fun but I've never met a drum mag that was reliable enough.

At least with a belt you can break a link and reload. When a drum goes belly up, that's a lot of ammo out of the immediate game!

We shall see. I figure its a plinking/range toy and these seem to have good reviews. I'm not sure when I'll be able to try it out but will report back with my findings when I can.
