Channel 9 ran a story about Tracy Gunn, who runs Dirty Buck Soap in Edmond (http://dirtybucksoap.com/); she'd already spent $10K for a booth at the show, but decided not to go after the promoters pulled that crap.

Good for her. I hope the hunters will stand with her. I also heard in one of the reports that the firm running the show was British, so I guess we shouldn't be at all surprised at what they've done.

Edit: Yep; they're English, headquartered in Surrey, UK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reed_Exhibitions No wonder they're tone deaf on this.

Sounds to me like they cancelled (or postponed) the show, so they owe her a refund!

I plan to email Reed Exhibitions and give them a piece of my mind!

This is very good news indeed. That is some strong solidarity there. This is exactly what needs to be happening in our nation. We face an unprecedented threat to our 2A rights. And to think that nothing can be done is naive. The anti's are pulling out all the stops to strip our rights away. And you can bet they won't be defeated easily.

I was just listening to Thursday's edition of Cam and Company, and he mentioned that quite a few of the vendors who pulled out have products that aren't even firearms- or hunting-related. I forget the vendor's name, but one of the bigger ones who canceled was preparing to set up a display of 30 boats.

We need to remember our allies in this battle...
