Tammy is dead but Jim seems to have rebounded well. He has a TV show and is based in Branson, Mo now. He preaches and sells all kinds of products for donations. CBD oil, vitamins and survival stuff.

Just got home and missed it. I remember sitting at my Grandma's house watching Tammy and Jim. She was ate up with them, sending a check a week.
Pretty easy to see they were hucksters.

A fellow Army officer told me of going home from college to find his parents had sold the house and taken up with the Bakkers on their NC campus as some sort of true believer. They hadn’t told him anything about their decision. This was in the last half of the 70s.
