Well, I guess I better come clean. I was born and raised in Texas til 15yo. The moved to Colorado for 3yrs. Then lived in Missouri from 18-24yo. Been in Oklahoma 10yrs now..Texas?

Nah, that's Wyoming. I've flown over it many times, and you can really tell from the air that it's God's country--ain't nobody else lives out there!
Osage county where I live is pretty isolated. Other parts of the county not so much.
I do plan to take the RV to that area though this next summer.
I'm quite fond of Riverton. I always flew in there. The airport is up on a bluff, which can make for interesting landings.
From there, I can recommend Cody for a neat firearms museum and access to Yellowstone, and Dubois (pron. DU-boiss) for good fishing up in the Shoshone National Forest. I've been to Jackson, and it's pretty, but definitely a tourist trap.
