We started listening to our old Sony stack stereo system (1990's?). Sony has stereo receiver, cassette, CD player carousel, turntable in a cabinet.
Turn off the boob tube and is relaxing.
Music is very healing!!
Getting outside in this beautiful weather is also.

Does anyone have an old Kenwood, Sony, Pioneer, Yamaha or Marantz system?? Regret selling my Marantz. Now looks to be mainly bookshelf stereos, no big speakers 🤣

I still have and use my Technics stereo system. Receiver, CD Player, Dual Cassette Deck and Turntable with Norman Labs tower speakers 4 ft tall with glass tops I purchased in the early 90s. Don't use the cassette very much if at all I have lots of vinyl LPs purchased in the 70s and early 80s. I wish I had kept my Marantz 2325 receiver. I sold when I bought the Technics. I think I sold it for $100. Those Marantz 2325 receivers are selling for $2-3000 now on Ebay. I still have a pair of Marantz Model 7 Speakers that have been just sitting unused for over 30 years.

I don't use cassette either, no cassettes. Looked up Norman Lab's around $800. I knew Marantz were pricey. Marantz 2325 looks like mine or similar, priced @ $2k up on fleabay.
Wonder how these compare to todays stuff on sound. Technics are very nice. Turntable direct drive $$$

Both systems are nice, I am getting an education on stereos. Wifey has a Bose in our bedroom, it's ok but not worth $$$
